Those interested in applying should hold:

  • A current Australian swimming teacher qualification
  • Current and valid employment Working with Children Check
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation qualification
  • International police check (International applicants only

Desirable but not essential:

  • Infant, Access and Inclusion, Competitive strokes teaching qualifications
  • First Aid Level 2 qualification
  • Pool Lifeguard qualification

Teacher applications will be required to undergo a teacher competency assessment as part of their application process. In accordance with Child Safe Standards, we require all job applicants to undergo training, extensive screening and a background check prior to appointment.
