Hayden Llewellyn is an accomplished performance coach with a proven track record of developing swimmers from junior level through to Australian Age and Open competition. As Surrey Park’s Senior Coach, Hayden leads the Club’s Age and Open Squads, helping swimmers achieve their potential through technical excellence, consistent training, and a positive high-performance environment.
Prior to joining Surrey Park, Hayden was a full-time coach with Nunawading Swimming Club, where he coached across the club’s performance pathway, including National Age, Junior Talent and State Squads, and most recently served as Head Coach and National Squad Coach at the Cheltenham program. He has also been appointed as a Victorian Marlins Squad Coach and Swimming Victoria Junior Talent Squad Coach, recognising his ability to develop emerging athletes.
Hayden has coached an Australian Age Champion and Australian Age silver medallist, developed multiple Australian Age finalists, guided more than 40 swimmers to Australian Age and Open Championship qualification, and coached athletes to more than 45 Victorian Age and Open medals. He holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from Deakin University and is an accredited Swimming Australia Development Coach.
