At the end of each of the major competition cycles each season (Victorian Short Course Championships (September), Victorian Long Course Championships (December) and National Age Championships (April), swimmers in all squads will be assessed by the coaching staff to identify which squad is appropriate for them for the next cycle.

In order for your children to receive their coach’s full attention, parents of children in the above squads are advised not to be on pool deck during training sessions.
If you wish to speak to your child’s coach, please make an appointment with the respective coach or through Surrey Park reception.

 JOINING SURREY PARK SWIMMING

All swimmers in Surrey Park’s competitive squads (Junior Squad upwards) are required to join as a swimmer member with Swimming Victoria. This involves completing a membership form and payment of an annual membership fee (as is the case for other sports). The majority of the membership fee collected is retained by Swimming Victoria; it includes necessary insurance whilst training, competing and participating in other Surrey Park activities.
