During school hours throughout the school term, we run our learn to swim and aquatic programs to a large percentage of our local primary and secondary schools in the Box Hill and surrounding Blackburn, Burwood, Nunawading, Mont Albert, Box Hill South areas.
School Group Learn to Swim Program
Running out of both Aqualink Box Hill and our Blackburn Learn to Swim Centre, our learn to swim schools program mirrors our term based progressive program.
On day one we ensure every student is accurately placed in a learning so minimal time is wasted so parents and families are getting a high quality, value for money program. Our dedicated schools change rooms at each facility to ensure child safety standards and privacy is maintained. Our private centres offer private access to school groups and offer mineral based water that is gentle on sensitive skin. Our expert instructors will ensure each child is progressing and provide criteria achieved each lesson to allow the school to receive a progress report for every single student at the end of their program.
Building children from water confidence all the way through to stroke correction and water safety skills, we deliver our program in a fun and engaging environment. We have a dedicated water safety day to ensure these vital skills are covered. On the final day of the program, swimmers participate in a fun day of activities and are issued with a certificate indicating all the skills they have successfully completed. Following the program we encourage all families to take up term based lessons for their children to ensure they are confident and able to rescue and survive around water.
Other Schools Programs Offered
We offer Aquathons (stroke correction, water safety, aqua aerobics) and squad training to schools looking at an aquatic experience for their children that extends beyond our learn to swim program. These are very popular for our Years 5 to Year 8 school groups
