A number of our Surrey Park swimmers recorded PB’s at this years Victorian Open LC Championships held 20-21 January at MSAC with the club finishing 4th Victorian Club on the able-bodied Club Point score.

A small but determined team of swimmers from Surrey Park’s Open High Performance Squad  tackled the best Victorian swimmers and many visitors from around Australia and overseas, including members of the Australian Team at the Victorian Open LC Championships held from 20-21 January at MSAC

Surrey Park swimmers recorded a number of PB swims whilst they had been in a very hard block of work – a great omen for the upcoming National Championships in April.

Special mention of Hamish McDougall, Kahlia Marsh, Laura Davy and Connor Xu for setting new PBs in at least one event – Well Done!.

Congratulations to Kahlia Marsh who qualified for a number of finals and smashed her PBs in both the 800m and 1500m Freestyle events while on her way to consecutive Bronze medals in these events – Super Efforts!

Also, a special mention to Surrey Park’s Girls Open 4×200 Free Relay who swam their way to a Bronze medal finish – Great Job, Alex Good, Kahlia Marsh, Ebba Rosenquist and Laura Davy!

A great effort for the swimmers to finish 4th Victorian Club on the able-bodied Club Point score – Awesome Job!
