Well done to the eight swimmers from Surrey Park’s Open High Performance Squad who attended the NSW Open Championships held from 3rd to 6th March.
Competing at this meet was an important part of their preparation for the Australian Open and Australian Age Championships coming up in April.
The competition was strong with members of the Australian Team and a number of international swimmers entered.
There were some good solid swims from the Surrey Park competitors.
Highlights included:
Laura Davy: 200 Fly qualified for A final; 400 IM qualified for B final
Connor Xu: PBs in 400 Free and 100 Breast
Hamish McDougall: 200 Fly qualified for A final; 200 IM qualified for B final
Ebba Rosenquist: 100 and 200 Fly qualified for B final; PB in 50 Fly
