What if we miss a lesson?
If you are unable to attend a lesson for any reason just let us know prior to the lesson commencing and we will offer you a make-up lesson at ‘no cost’. Each student is eligible for 2 make-up lessons per term. We book in make-up lessons 3 days prior to attending, with make-ups being able to be used at any time that is convenient for you throughout the term. Please note makeups are not guaranteed, subject to availability and do not carry over terms.
Who do I speak to if I have a query or want feedback?
We have on deck lead instructors that are available at any time throughout the term to offer feedback or answer any questions you may have.
Can my child move up levels throughout the term?
Our tots program progressions are age-based, so your child will progress once they become of a certain age.
If your child is enrolled in our learn to swim program, we assess your child during every lesson throughout the term and move children immediately once they completed all skills level criteria. We do not hold them in a level awaiting the end of the term.
When should I stop lessons?
Upon commencement of lessons, we recommend your child swims through to the end of our program and should have some exposure to our squad programs. By doing this you ensure your child is a strong swimmer and more able to deal with the variety of conditions that different aquatic environments present.
Participating in our squad training enables your child to compete at schools swimming sports with confidence, improve their swimming skills further and understand training for fitness.
How can i fast track my child's progression?
To fast track your child’s progression we recommend the following:
-
Enrol in two lessons per term;
-
Enrol in intensive school holiday programs;
-
Swim and play in the water as often as possible.
