It was a fine summer evening for Week 2 of Twilight Tuesday Racing on 21st February. The session again proved a busy one with nearly 60 swimmers participating. Sign up is now available for Week 3 on the 7th March.
Well done to all those Surrey Park swimmers who participated in Metro East’s All Junior Selection Trials held at Aquanation on Sunday 19th February. There was some good racing and many PBs.
This year, Surrey Park swimmers made the Victorian Sprint Championships one of their targeted meets and came to the competition with no less than 46 swimmers ready to compete over the 2 day meet.
Surrey Park swimmers Kahlia Marsh, Dani Smithson, Morgan Morffew and Tom Curran headed to Adelaide to compete at the 2017 Australian Open Water Championships held at Brighton Beach SA from 27th to 29th January. They were accompanied by Coach Kylie and supported by Manager Al Smithson.
Surrey Park sent a large team of 29 swimmers, accompanied by Coaches Kylie, Tom and Sarah, and Team Managers Katie Walsh and Peta Barry, to South Australia for a training camp followed by the 5 days of competition at the South Australian State Championships from the 18th to 22nd January.

A number of our Surrey Park swimmers recorded PB’s at this years Victorian Open LC Championships held 20-21 January at MSAC with the club finishing 4th Victorian Club on the able-bodied Club Point score.
