“A successful State age championships was held over the weekend with over 20 of our swimmers per night making the finals”.
Overall we had 32 medals won by Surrey Park swimmers. The highlight was certainly the team spirit with many swimmers that were not competing coming into support their teammates. All swimmers were up and cheering before each swimmers race which certainly lifted the performance of the swimmers. Congratulations to Chantelle Underwood who from her results (6 medals) gained selection for the Victorian State team to compete in early October.
